Husking Mills
Teris Foods, LLP has a network of small and medium sized husking units across Sindh and Punjab to acquire paddy rice and dehusk after drying to ensure quality product for our clients, Our surveyors visit local paddies and acquire the best quality rice directly from the farm to ensure that we adhere to our high quality standards. The received paddy is gone through multi step cleaners where foreign materials like straw, mud-balls, metal parts, stones and threads are removed and cleaned paddy is then fed to next process. This cleaned paddy is then fed into state of the art husking unit where the shell is separated and brown rice is received. This brown rice will then be transported to our storage warehouses for ageing or to be shipped directly to our valued customers.
Milling
Rice processing facility at Teris Foods, LLP is designed in a manner to ensure high quality of rice. It is ensured to be consistent at each level. This is done by ensuring periodical staff trainings, state of the art machinery and carefully designed SOPs. At each step of the milling process, our QA team ensures that the rice is undergoing the process as desired. Teris Foods, LLP uses high end rice milling machinery from Buhler & Satake. After multiple processes like, removal of foreign material, de-stoning, polishing, length grading, color sorting, now the rice is ready to reach the customer.
Parboiling Plant
The received paddy is gone through multi step cleaners where foreign materials like straw, mud-balls, metal parts, stones and threads are removed and cleaned paddy is then fed to next process.
The cleaned paddy is then taken to Parboiling unit, where the paddy will be soaked, steamed and dried and will complete the parboiling process and then will be husked. This husked rice will then be transported to our milling facility in Karachi for further polishing, sorting and grading for our valued customers.
